John Quileza is a Filipino 2D Artist with great interest in animation, especially in storyboarding and visual development. He graduated with honors from The Art Institute of California San Diego with a Bachelor's Degree in Media Arts & Animation.
In college, he was a 3D Animator and Character and Prop designer for a group student film called Rodney Sprocket in: Your Lucky Day. On Youtube John contributed as an artist on the show, Dr. Crafty (episodes 71-73) as well as a few "re-animated" collaborations (Kirby Right Back at Ya! ReAnimated, Rhythm Heaven ReAnimated). His latest project is as a rough animator on an independent-made 2D-fighting game, Burning Souls. He recently also had participated as a mentee in the Story-For-All Storyboard Mentorship program with a Dreamworks TV Animation veteran. He had also made it as a Semi-Finalist in the Nickelodeon Artist Program - Storyboard Path.
For personal projects, he is creating design packets and animatics based on his own works: rONIn and Detective Marie & The Painter's Spell.
John enjoys video games, cooking, manga/comics, and occasionally livestreaming.
